Netflix Picks For Wellness
In my home we do not have regular television connected as we like to avoid advertisement + getting "sucked" into the TV. Having said that, movies are a passion of mine + can often be very inspirational so we have opted for Netflix in our home instead. If you would like some inspiration for your wellness journey, here are my top Netflix picks.
Living on One Dollar - This doco is about some American friends who move to Guatemala + challenge themselves to live in poverty. I'd recommend this watch to get you into a state of gratitude + hopefully a state of wanting to make a difference.
Fat, Sick + Nearly Dead/ Supersize Me - Both documentaries show a man taking on a certain way of eating. One takes on juice as their main source of diet while the other only eats McDonald's. Both movies are excellent examples of the things that influence the way we eat + how food can either heal us or make up sick.
Chefβs Table - Up until recently I have never have much of a passion for cooking. Chefs Table had something to do with this as it dives into the reasons why these Chefs are so passionate about food. I would recommend for anyone who is looking to spice up their love for food + cooking.
Minimalism - I have written a full blog post about this doco because I love it so much! This movie is all about consumerism + how we can all benefit from living with less in today's society.
Tony Robbins, I am not your Guru - This epic documentary follows the journey of Tony Robbins who is hosting his 6 day event called a Date with Destiny. You get to see attendees making huge changes in their life with the guidance of Tony. If this doesn't inspire you to kick your own butt into gear I don't know what will.
