Hey sista! (or mista),

It’s Shalee here. It has been a while since I last wrote for my blog. I just haven’t been feeling it. Instead, I’ve been focusing on living. I’ve been seeing friends, making money, laughing and eating lots of yummy foods. I was finally called to put together a new post all about rituals. When I use the word “ritual” I am referring to a ceremony or act that is regularly performed. Over the years I have tried so many different things to improve my life and I have kind of morphed a bunch or books, classes, and lectures together to make my own special rituals (and I encourage you to do the same). I’m not strict about doing these but they are in my life regularly and have improved the general quality of my life. I feel like I can manifest what I want when I use these rituals which is why I describe them as rituals to alchemize your life. Without further ado, here they are…

MANIFESTING MONEY RITUAL

We all want more money right. I have noticed that working my tooshie off is a great way to make money but asking the universe for a little help has improved my finances by leaps and bounds. Here is what I do

  • Write down exactly how much money I need. The universe won’t know what to send me unless I ask for it. I do this in 2-week chunks.

  • Every time money comes in, I cross the total out and write a new total. This way I get to see how quickly I am making what I want. I use an app called “Money Box” to do this.

  • When I am asking for money I understand that the universe might not send me it because my life is too full. I will then go into my Google Drive and delete documents, I will throw out unwanted possessions or I will clean an area of my home like my fridge. Clearing something from my life is a great way to make room for money

  • I write a letter to the universe. I usually write “Dear universe, please send me… and in return, I will…”. I let the universe know what I am doing to do in return. This is usually something I have been putting off for a while like organising tax receipts (or writing a blog post ha-ha). It also gives me an action to complete while I wait for the money to come in.

  • I write down all of the ways I could make money on a sheet of paper. They could be real ways or pretend ways, but I am opening my mind to the idea that money can come in all sorts of ways.

  • I tap. I use a method called Emotion Freedom Technique (EFT or tapping) to clear any money blocks. Google it!

  • I thank the universe every time money comes in out loud!

CLEARING THE PAST RITUAL

In my 28 years on this planet, I have experienced a lot of situations that are less than ideal. Instead of reliving the past over and over again I opt for a clearing the past ritual.

  • Write a forgiveness letter. I write this letter to someone from the past or to myself. I will then burn the letter or tear it up. This is a very therapeutic way to learn to love people that have wronged you or to forgive yourself for things that have happened in the past.

  • EFT. I keep a folder in my phone called “things to tap on”. When the past comes up I will write down that situation in my phone and then will have a little tapping session after my boyfriend goes to bed.

FEELING GOOD RITUAL

If you listen to Abraham Hicks you will know that you aren’t going to be able to attract your dream life unless you are in the vortex (feeling good). Here is a ritual I do when I want to feel good

  • Listen to affirmations that I have recorded for myself. This is so goddam powerful! There is something about hearing my own voice saying that everything is going to be okay that really switches my mindset.

  • I sunbathe. I get up on my balcony and sunbathe (naked if possible). I use an app called “dminder” so I never get burned. I imagine that the sun’s rays are literally healing me, and I also managed to cure a vitamin D deficiency by doing this. I always feel amazing after sunbathing for 10-15 minutes.

  • Meditate. Yes, meditation can be boring and feel like a pest but JUST DO IT! If I am ever feeling crap and wonder why it is usually because I skipped the meditation part of my feeling good ritual. I use the app called “1 Giant Mind

  • Yoga. I don’t consider myself a yogi, but I do like stretching and moving my body, especially after sitting at the computer all day. I use an app called “Down Dog” that lets you select different background music. Moving my body along to the music makes me feel really fucking spiritual and just awesome.
